Mr. Joseph Boakye Agyemang
Position: Executive Director-Programs
Joseph Boakye Agyemang is an accomplished youth development advocate, educator, and leadership strategist with a distinguished record of service in youth focused governance and empowerment initiatives. As the Director of Programs for the Youth Empowerment Consortium (YEC), he plays a central role in designing, coordinating, and executing national-level leadership, governance, and skills development programs for young people across Ghana.
As a professional teacher and a politician, Joseph combines his background in education with a strong passion for youth empowerment, political education, and community development. His work at YEC includes overseeing the planning and delivery of major events such as the Youth Model Parliament, leadership retreats, national congresses, and specialized training programs aimed at equipping young people with essential skills for political participation, governance, and socio-economic development.
Joseph is also the founder of the Institute for Creative Leadership and Management, where he continues to champion innovative approaches to leadership training, personal development, and capacity building. His leadership extends to various youth organizations, including his role as Director of Programs at the Youth Empowerment Consortium and his involvement with the Youth Empowerment Consortium and Youth Model Parliament platforms.
As a Christian, he integrates integrity, service, and purpose driven leadership into his engagements. He is known for his ability to inspire, mobilize, and mentor young people, helping them unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Currently, Joseph serves as the Special Aid to the District Chief Executive for Techiman North.
